Beverly Theriault

I have been drawing and painting most of my life, but it was only after studying with Patsy Seward, a very accomplished artist and teacher, that I really became serious about art. Since that time I have been largely self taught, although I do enjoy attending workshops when my schedule permits. Though it has been many years since I studied with Patsy, I am always striving to make my art reflect the principles I learned from her.  I work in oil, acrylic and colored pencil, usually on archival panels but occasionally utilizing paper or stretched canvas. My work has been characterized as representational with a touch of whimsy.
